Art Review: Artist Arizabeth by Kenneth

Hello everyone. God bless you and I hope your having a good day. Today I will be talking about my classmates Arizabeth art work titled Conceal don't feel. Made in march 1st 2025 at 1:21am. It is a photograph that was edited in adobe photoshop and lightroom classic. Size through photoshop is 4,000 width to 6,000 length. This photo needed her fiancé with a lot of white face paint black paint crayon and eyeliner.

Conceal Don't Feel

Let me tell you the meaning of the work right over here. This work is about her fiancé and how he grew up. Conceal don't feel is conceal your emotions and don't feel. Don't express the way you feel towards other. It's common for a guy to be told don't cry that's not manly or don't show this emotion its not what or means to be a man. It can be told from a father or from friends and family. Under developing a key skill to make us similar to robots. Get the job done and conceal your emotions.

Plainly the look of the photo makes me feel uneasy. The way he looks up at the camera and the face paint and text. Almost like there is anger in his eyes or at least annoyance in his face. Like I intruded on something. But with the context it becomes  someone who doesn't know how to feel. Or show how they feel. Maybe the blank expression is his way of expressing something he doesn't know. I also to be fair said he reminds me of the joker from the Christopher Nolan batman movies.

This is art. It's good art. It has a meaning behind it that I can sympathize with and the way it was shot and how it turned out came together really well. Better than the guy moving slightly saying this is art in my personal opinion. (Please do not hurt me) Anyways that is all that I have for you today. Enjoy the rest of your day or night. God Bless you.
