Questions from Research:
When I did my research last week, I was looking for ideas that were adjacent to my BFA project idea, which is the impossibility of a utopian-like peace. So, I did my research on finding inner peace within our world of chaos. Last week, I spent my time looking for my topic and statistical data that goes along with that topic. After doing my initial research, the only question I had was how do people find that peace within themselves. Therefore, this week I did research about the different ways that people find inner peace.
What I found during my research this week was that many people find inner peace through common things that we do everyday. Some of the common things that we can do to find inner peace is to be around others, meditate, set boundaries, and be grateful for what’s happening in your life and not around you. One common thing that I found was that one way to find inner peace is just to breathe. While doing research, I noticed that these common things that we do can help us find inner peace yet some people don’t realize that. With this in mind, I want to make my adjacent project about the different ways we can find inner peace in our chaotic world.

Art Intervention:
For my art intervention, I would like to create a series of 3-5 of digital artworks that offer different ways of finding inner peace within our world of chaos. With everyone worrying about there being no peace in the world, finding inner peace is getting overlooked. These days people tend to forget that they could find peace within themselves instead of worrying about the world around them. Therefore for my art intervention, I want to create a series of digital works reminding people to find inner peace within themselves and how to do so. I feel that in order for people to strive towards peace around them, they should first find peace within themselves.
Do you think looking for something digital as opposed to something physical/tangible would be a better way to promote breathing? finding inner peace?
