To Whom it may concern,
My name is Christopher Cruz, a senior at New Jersey University and pursuing a BFA illustration degree. I would like to have your permission to do further research for my art intervention. An art intervention is an artwork that is used to intervene with the goal to cause change and dialogue. My art intervention’s goal is to help people create or discover coping mechanisms via viewing artwork of artists who expressed their coping mechanisms through art.
In this post covid era, people who were affected by covid have their existing coping mechanisms shattered due to the stress and isolation or never had a decent coping mechanism to begin with. Mental and emotional health have been declining even after the Covid era. Young teens to young adults are susceptible to effects of mental and emotional health decline. With mental health and emotional health becoming increasingly made important and discussed.
Through my intervention, I intend to educate people and generate a greater understanding of how to deal with overall mental and emotional health. The purpose for me reaching out is to elevate my interventions reach where it not only resonates but also furthers the dialogue to discover varying methods to maintain overall health.
