I chose this article since it really pique my interest, ever since the trump administration took charge there has been fear to every migrant due to the absurd ICE laws. Either Legal or Illegal, the profiling is insane; veterans, legal families, and even documented children have been targeted by them. This article is mainly based on legal workers being detained by once again ICE, humiliated and with no type of communication, just instant arrest. Mainly as a Latino student, this is insanity and angers me. The privilege of not caring about politics, or my identity to be a topic of discussion.
It mainly interested me since it aligns with my BFA show, that is about following a nomad on a journey through a fantasy world trying to find peace, going through different parts of this made up world, yet not every place is safe. Environments have always been a source of inspiration to me, and how I view/interact myself around them, It's good to acknowledge the information around us, and remembering what reality is.
