Materials & Installation Details

• Artwork Material: Cardboard papier-mache

• Hardware Needed: Approximately 20 thumbtacks

• Installation Surface: Corkboard wall

Step-by-Step Installation Instructions

1. The artwork is a cardboard papier-mache Coquí measuring approximately 40" x 30".

2. Gather about 20 thumbtacks. You will use these to secure all sides of the piece and the accompanying flyer/stickers.

3. Locate the designated corkboard wall in the Visual Arts Building and place the Coquí centered in the middle or slightly high-middle on the board.

4. Begin securing the piece by placing thumbtacks:

• One under each armpit

• One under each leg

• One on each side of the neck

• 2–4 tacks along the bottom for strong support

• 3–4 additional tacks along the sides or areas needing reinforcement

5. After the Coquí is fully secured, use one thumbtack to attach the flyer and stickers near the artwork.

6. Step back and check that the piece is straight, centered, and firmly secured.

7. Take a few clear installation photos for documentation and final approval.
