Corine is a digital artist with heavy interest and passion for animation. Although being a primarily digital artist, she has quite a few traditional works.
The first one she spoke about was the one below, which was a recreation of Govert Flinck's "Bearded Man with a Velvet Cap" another painting in oil. She found this to be a fun experience but still challenging. Explaining that remaking colors and having to use so many materials are a pain. To this I could totally relate to. You could never tell that Corine does not enjoy painting, since from the paintings I've seen they are fantastic.

The next one she talked about was a digital illustration of a city skyline. Corine's main intention with this piece was to figure out how to draw different perspectives and buildings. Her usage of color is really vibrant and reminds me of a cyberpunk city. The colors are also very playful which I think is a common feeling that is conveyed throughout her works.

This piece was made in high school, and was made for an online competition that Corine participated in. With this piece Corine loved creating the lighting. I can totally agree with, the high contrast between the glow of the key and the actual character do the piece justice. Giving it a magical and moody atmosphere.

(The videos for some reasons would not upload correctly so I just included a screenshot :( )
The walking cycle was a basic animation to help Corine practice a character walking. It became challenging and time consuming when it came to how the sword and the hair moved with the character, since it all needed to be cohesive. She also learned about creating amour and stances. This is one of Corine's most proud works, learning a lot throughout the process.
